The specific heat treatment process can vary depending on the materials used.5.Finishing operations: After heat treatment and nitriding, step drills undergo final grinding and polishing operations to obtain precise dimensions, smooth surfaces and sharp cutting edges. This ensures the precision and performance of the drill.6.Quality Control: Throughout the manufacturing process, quality control measures are implemented to ensure that stepped bits meet specified standards and tolerances. This may involve dimensional inspection, hardness testing and visual inspection.
