It works by using powerful magnets that are attracted to screws embedded in the wooden beam, helping you quickly find the approximate center of the beam, as screws are typically placed right in the middle.
Our stud finder comes with two laser options: red and green, allowing you to choose the one that best suits your workspace lighting conditions. The device operates on AAA batteries, making it portable and easy to use without the need for constant recharging.
The built-in laser automatically aligns to the level and projects the beam downwards, precisely indicating the beam’s position. For example, if screws are located higher up, and you need to attach a baseboard a few feet below, there’s no need to measure the distance manually — simply follow the laser line to position your fixture accurately.
Thanks to this system, you can install baseboards, mount frames, set up shelves, hang pictures, and handle many other tasks with greater efficiency. This saves time and effort that would otherwise be spent searching for wooden beams.
